DESCRIPTION
Source of vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 — one capsule provides 4000 IU cholecalciferol and 100 μg menaquinone-7 (MK-7).

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) — a fat-soluble steroid compound, obtained from food (e.g. oily fish) and synthesized in the skin under sunlight. Stored mainly in fat tissue and liver.
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) — a fat-soluble vitamin, stored primarily in the liver. It can be synthesized by gut bacteria, obtained from food, or from supplements. OstroVit uses MK-7, the most bioavailable form.
Vitamins D3 and K2 act synergistically, enhancing each other’s effects.

PROPERTIES

• Vitamin D helps maintain healthy bones and teeth, proper muscle function, immune support, calcium and phosphorus absorption, and normal calcium levels in blood. It is also involved in cell division.

• Vitamin K supports normal blood clotting and healthy bones.

SUGGESTED USAGE
Healthy adults under 75 years — 1/2 capsule daily.
Healthy adults over 75 years — 1 capsule daily.
