DESCRIPTION OF INGREDIENTS
Collagen — one of the main building proteins of the body. Marine collagen type I used in OstroVit is a source of hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides, which are distinguished by excellent absorption in the human body.
Hyaluronic acid — organic chemical compound, a polysaccharide from the glycosaminoglycan group. It is a substance that in the human body is part of the intercellular matrix of the dermis and is the main component of synovial fluid.
Vitamin C — organic chemical compound classified as water‑soluble vitamins. The ingredient can be found in fresh fruits and vegetables, including peppers, kohlrabi and oranges.
Zinc — mineral ingredient with symbol Zn. The main sources of zinc are red meat, poultry, dry legumes, nuts and whole grain products.
Biotin — organic chemical compound classified as a B vitamin. Dietary sources of biotin include offal, fish, nuts, as well as seeds and cereal products.
Coenzyme Q10 — fat‑soluble vitamin‑like compound that can be naturally formed in the human body in small quantities and can also be supplied to the body with the diet — the substance can be found in meat, offal or fish.
Apple fiber — natural dietary fiber obtained from apple pomace. It is insoluble in water and swells quickly when in contact with liquid. It is a source of pectin, which is not digested in the human gastrointestinal tract.
Young wheat grass powder — powder made from carefully selected, germinating plant shoots, which are deprived of water and dried after harvest. Young wheat grass powder is a source of chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals.
Young barley grass powder — powder from a plant with a characteristic green color, which owes its color to its high chlorophyll content. Young barley grasses are distinguished by the richness of micronutrients and valuable substances and thus constitute a valuable supplement to the daily diet.
Spirulina and chlorella — algae called superfoods, which are a valuable source of many micro‑ and macroelements.
Inulin — polysaccharide of plant origin, which constitutes a reserve store. Inulin is used as dietary fiber and a prebiotic, i.e. a nutrient for good bacteria living in the digestive system.
Soy lecithin — a substance obtained from soybeans, which is a mixture of phospholipids, as well as glycolipids, sterols and fatty acids.
Elderberry extract standardized to 40% polyphenols and 5% anthocyanins — extract from a plant from the muskrataceae family, which is distinguished by its white, umbel‑shaped flowers and dark purple, fleshy fruit.
Turmeric rhizome extract standardized to 95% curcuminoids — extract obtained from a tuberous rhizome, which is distinguished by its distinct taste and aroma as well as its yellow‑orange color.
Green tea leaf extract standardized to 50% polyphenols — extract from Chinese tea leaves belonging to the genus Camellia sinensis, which are only subjected to steam and drying during production, which has a positive effect on the preservation of valuable nutrients in the plant’s structures.
Grape seed extract standardized to 95% proanthocyanidins (PAC) — extract from seeds of fruit from the grape family, which contain oligomeric proanthocyanidins (PACs), which are classified as flavonoids.
Ginkgo biloba leaf extract standardized to 24% gynicoflavonoglycosides and 6% terpene lactones — an extract from one of the oldest seed plants in the world, which is referred to as a living fossil and is a valuable source of valuable substances.
