CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid, is an unsaturated fatty acid of animal origin with 18 carbon atoms and two conjugated double bonds in its chain. It differs from standard linoleic acid in that its double bonds are separated by only one single bond – a structure rarely found in nature. CLA must be supplied from external sources, as the human body cannot produce it naturally. It is found in milk, dairy products, meat, eggs, and in dietary supplements.

Green tea – an extract from the leaves of Chinese tea (Camellia sinensis) processed only with steam and drying, which preserves the valuable nutrients in the plant structure.
